Opening Keynote
Chief Officer Karrah Herring is currently the Chief Equity, Inclusion & Opportunity Officer for Governor Eric Holcomb's Administration. Herring collaborates with other key partners throughout Indiana to integrate equity across all parts of the state. She focuses on enhancing state government operations, addressing workplace challenges, and improving services.
Chief Officer Herring has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the "Key to the City" from Mayor James Mueller of South Bend, IN. Purdue University honored her as a 2022 College of Liberal Arts Distinguished Alumna, and she was recognized in the Indianapolis Business Journal's Forty Leaders Under 40 2022 list and the 250 Most Influential Leaders of 2022. In 2021, the South Bend Regional Chamber named her their Woman of Influence. Karrah also served as the executive branch’s representative on the Indiana Supreme Court’s Commission on Equity and Access within Indiana Courts, chairing a subcommittee focused on underrepresented groups' access to the legal profession.
By challenging and dismantling inequitable systems, Chief Officer Herring is working to improve the lives of all.

Lisa is a graduate of the CICS program where she was awarded Student of the Year in 2013. Lisa has 8+ years of experience with SaaS products within the talent acquisition and HR information systems space. She is currently a manager and product owner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she is responsible for PwC’s candidate relationship management systems. Lisa lives in Kansas City with her husband and two children.

Kristen Cooper is the CEO and Founder of The Startup Ladies, a professional membership organization dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs in building scalable businesses, which she established in 2014. With a background in technology and fundraising, Cooper previously served as Vice President of Operations and Corporate Development at Sticksnleaves, where she facilitated collaborations with growth-stage and mature businesses, as well as women and minority entrepreneurs. Prior to this, she held roles in non-profit fundraising for nearly two decades, including Executive Director positions at the Indy Chamber and the Riverview Hospital Foundation. Cooper has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pennsylvania State University and actively mentors women entrepreneurs in Indiana and beyond, while also advocating for the LGBTQ+ community through her public activism and service on the Indiana Youth Group Board.

Kim specializes in design and implementation of Unified Communications, Video, and Contact Center Customer solutions, having 11 years’ experience designing and deploying solutions for her clients. Her relevant technical skills include design, implementation, and deployment of Cisco Unified communications platforms (Webex and on-premises), UCaaS solutions such as Microsoft Teams as well as technology assessments, dial plan migrations, E911 compliance, call center workflows, and visual communications.

Currently he is part of the Competency development team at Infosys Indianapolis Education Center responsible for Foundation Program and AI related competency programs. He is also the Technical Architect for the AI solutions like Virtual Assistants for Infosys Wingspan platform.

Attard integrates a growth mindset and positive psychology techniques within each client’s unique professional development strategy. Attard has a Master’s degree in leadership along with multiple leadership and digital entrepreneurship certifications. She also holds advanced graduate learning studies in human resource management.

Jeni McIntosh-Elkins holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University Northwest and is now pursuing an Ed.D in Adult and Community Education at Ball State University. She previously completed a Master's in Business Administration at Indiana University Northwest, and a Master of Science Degree in Information and Communication Sciences at Ball State University. Jeni's experience is deep and wide. She describes how overcoming a traumatic childhood and becoming a widow at a young age shaped her outlook. Emily is a Sr. Technical Writer on the Content Strategy team at Veeam Software, where her job description has changed several times. She used to edit and sometimes write marketing copy for the company, but now also helps come up with strategic marketing initiatives and content plans for the different workstreams in product marketing. Before that, she graduated with a degree in English and Journalism from The Ohio State University and interned with several magazines and newspapers around Columbus, OH. In her free time, she likes to play video games, read, hike, and hang out with her cat,

Megan Schillereff graduated with a BA in English Literature from Ball State University (chirp chirp) and began working as a Technical Writer for Veeam Software. In her time with Veeam, her role has evolved several times. Currently, she works with the Content Strategy Team as a Senior Technical Writer specializing in overseeing editorial tasks, maintaining online resources, creating strategic report-based content, and working with Veeam’s SMB workstream. In her free time, she enjoys reading, eating good food, and staring lovingly at her cats.
